General Conditions:

1. The incumbent will be paid a consolidated amount per month.

2. The project post engagement is time bound and purely temporary in nature and is on contract basis. The duration of the engagement would be initially for a period of 6 months and may be extendable for a period of 2 years or the tenure of the project whichever is earlier.

3. In case of employees of Govt./Quasi Govt./State/Public Sector Undertakings the applications should be routed through proper channel or candidates are required to produce a No Objection certificate at the time of interview.

4. Age limit and experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the Management in the case of exceptionally qualified and/or experienced persons.

5. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

6. No correspondence will be entertained with candidates who are not called for interview/selected for appointment.

7. The above posts shall carry reservation for SC/ST/OBC as per Government of India rules. 

8. Candidates applying for the post against OBC category must submit an attested copy of certificate of creamy layer  – exclusion in the format prescribed by the Government of India, failing which the application will not be considered against the posts OBC.

9. 10. The signed application for each post applied along with photocopies of relevant documents and a recent passport size photograph is to be forwarded to  -    The Director, Indian Maritime University, Visakhapatnam Campus, Gandhigram, Visakhapatnam–530 005.,  in a sealed cover super scribing the “Post Code”   with  Post applied for, so as to reach the above mentioned address on or before 15th July 2012. 

11. Any Application received without fulfilling any of the above conditions the application will be summarily rejected. 

12. Email applications will not be entertained and shall be summarily rejected. 

13. The Management reserves the right either to fill up the advertised post  and / or increase the number of posts or otherwise. 

14. The above posts are purely temporary and or on contract basis and will not be regularized under any circumstances.
