Qualification: Bachelor degree of university or institute in India estd or incorporated by or under central act or state act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent to AMIE with any one of the above branches
B.E. (Electrical Engineering): B.E. (Electric and Power)/Tech
B.E. (Mechanical Engineering): B.E. (Production Engineering)/Tech, B.E. (Industrial Engineering)/Tech, B.E. (Manufacturing Engineering)/Tech, B.E. (Thermal Engineering)/Tech
B.E. (Electronics): B.E. (Electronics and Communication)/Tech, B.E. (Electro and Power Engineering)/ Tech, B.E. (Power Electronics)/Tech, B.E. (E & T)/Tech

Experience: No previous experience is necessary
Sub Engineer:
Pay Scale: Rs 11600-520-14200-540-19600-565-32030/-
Qualification: Diploma Holder of university or institute in India estd or incorporated by or under central act or state act or any other qualification recognized as equivalent to AMIE with any one of the above branches
Electrical: Diploma (Electric and Power)
Mechanical: Diploma Production/Industrial/Thermal/Manufacturing
Electronics: Diploma (Electronics and Communication)/ E&T/ Electronics and Power/ Power Electronics
Instrumentation: Diploma
Experience: No previous experience is necessary on generation side
Age Limit: 33 years (as on 31st August, 2012)
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to backward classes; Ex-Servicemen/PwD/Project Affected Person will be 45 years
Upper age limit is not applicable to the departmental employees working in MAHAGENCO Application Fees
The record with regard to this selection process will be maintained for three month from date of declaration of result of this advertisement
Application Fee:
Junior Engineer; amount for open category candidates Rs 500/-; amount for reserved category candidates Rs 250/-
Sub Engineer; amount for open category candidates Rs 400/-; amount for reserved category candidates Rs 200/-
For online Payment transaction there will be additional 5% bank charges
Candidates applying under physically handicapped category need not pay the application fee, provided they submit the medical certificate from appropriate authority
The fee for the recruitment test is payable through online payment gateway using credit card/debit card/ net banking
Fees once paid will not be refunded in any circumstances, nor will it be held in reserve for any future recruitment

The application should be submitted on line on website www.mahagenco.in by 16th September, 2012 and simultaneously the print out of application along with attested copy of testimonials, should be sent to Post Box Number 8712, Andheri (East) Mumbai 400069 on or before 22nd September, 2012
Applications duly filled in with attested copies of certificates in support of age, qualifications experience and caste should be on or before 22nd September, 2012
Applications received after due date (for whatsoever reason) shall not be entertained
Separate application in a separate envelope is required to be submitted for each post applied
Candidate should keep one copy of application form with him
