SELECTION PROCESS:
INTERVIEW: 
Mere eligibility/pass in the stipulated CWE conducted by IBPS for Clerical Cadre posts, shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies (State/Union territory- wise), only those candidates who have been issued a valid score card in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerical cadre posts conducted by IBPS in Nov/Dec 2011 and who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) as per the cut-off marks (State/Union territory- wise) decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview.
The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC/EXSM Candidates.
Final selection will be made State/Union territory - wise, on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Clerical cadre posts conducted by IBPS in Nov/Dec 2011 & Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC/EXSM will be given relaxation in marks as per extant Government Guidelines. The Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if necessary.
INTERVIEW CENTRES:
The Interview will be held at major centres across the country and address of the same will be advised in the interview call letters. The Interviews will be held at different centres on different dates as decided by the Bank and will be communicated to the candidates shortlisted for Interview.

Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) an initiative of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), USA are seeking Senior Scientists and Scientists for their new joint collaborative program to accelerate and advance HIV vaccine research and development.  The program shall be an integral part of the THSTI cluster of research centers and will be closely linked to global network of R&D facilities, including IAVIs Neutralizing Antibody Consortium (NAC) and IAVI Design and Development lab, situated in Brooklyn,  New York. The Design Lab examines novel AIDS vaccine platforms and immunogen, standardizes  preclinical testing of AIDS vaccine candidates, and develops candidates for evaluation in clinical trials It would be an innovative discovery program and will be directed at designing, testing and implementing high-throughput (HT) strategies for HIV-1 envelope-based immunogen screening and prioritization to help discover and advance novel HIV vaccine candidates.  The program is targeted to expand the number of vaccine candidates for testing, and enhance the speed with which they can be assayed.  The unique industrial-type high-throughput vaccine design, screening and selection processes proposed will be largely facilitated by interdisciplinary interaction and thus driven by principles of international collaboration, high-quality science and vaccine-oriented applied research.

HOW TO APPLY: 
1. The application should be submitted in the Proforma given in the advertisement, preferably type written. 
2. The outer cover should be subscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF “_______________________________________”.
3. A non-refundable Bank Demand Draft for Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of “Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd”. payable at New Delhi is to be enclosed.  Candidates are advised to write their name and post applied on the reverse side of the DD. No application fee need to be paid by the candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically challenged category.  
4. The application should be accompanied with self-attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualification, age and experience.  Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC should furnish the attested copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority to that effect.  OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates are also required to submit the OBC certificate in the prescribed format meant for applying for appointment to the post under Govt. of India and for Central Government PSU.  The OBC certificate should not be obtained before 1st August, 2011.
5. Duly completed application should be sent to the DGM (Pers.), Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd., 16th Floor, Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi – 110 001 through registered/speed post only within 21 days from the publication of this advertisement.  Applications received late/incomplete will be rejected.  SPMCIL Management will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss of documents during transit.
GENERAL:
1. Mere conformity to the job requirement will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.  Management reserves the right to reject the application without assigning any reason and to raise the standard of specifications to restrict the number candidates to be called for interview.  The recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated without assigning any reason.  The decision of the management will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
2. Only SC/ST candidates called for interview will be reimbursed II Class return train fare by the shortest route from their starting station or mailing address whichever is nearer to the place of interview.
3. Application that are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in this advertisement, incomplete applications and those received after the last date and also, applications not accompanied with requisite demand draft will not be entertained.
4. Wherever applicable, candidates should send their application through proper channel. The employees of Central/State Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies, etc. should apply through proper channel in the prescribed form or shall produce NOC at the time of interview.
5. Age Relaxation: The upper age limit specified in the advertisement is for General candidates from the open market.  Relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen shall be as per extant Govt. Rules. 
In case of departmental candidates, age relaxation upto 5 years will be given.
6. Computation of age, minimum post-qualification experience and qualification shall be as on 31.05.2012.
7. Reservation shall be provided to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/PH/EX-Servicemen as per extant Government Rules. 
8. In order to regulate the number of candidates to be called for interview, if so required, SPMCIL Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/criteria, OR to relax the minimum eligibility criteria/standards. 
9. In case of large number of applications, SPMCIL Management may conduct a written test/pre-interview round for shortlisting of candidates.
10. SPMCIL Management reserves the right to fill up the post or increase/decrease the number of posts or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reasons thereof.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

General Conditions for Regular Positions:
i. In addition to the basic pay, incumbents are also being eligible for allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees.
ii. Higher start in the time scale may be considered in case of exceptionally deserving candidates.
iii. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being called for interview or/and for his/her selection.
iv. If suitable candidate is not available, the candidate may be offered next lower position.
v. Candidate may also be considered appointed on contract for two years in consolidated salary.
vi. Reservations in the recruitment will be done as per Government of India Instructions.
General Conditions for Contractual Positions:
i. Compensation would be commensurate with relevant qualification and professional experience and is negotiable.
ii. Positions are on contractual basis for a fixed duration of a maximum of 2 years initially on a consolidated salary extendable for another 2 more years based on performance.
iii. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualifications and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for Interview. Decision of the Institute to call the candidates for interview shall be final.
iv. Conditions related to qualification and experience may be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates.
v. Besides salary medical benefits and Earned Leave would be considered
