HOW TO APPLY:-
   
Procedure for Depositing Fee:
The application fee must be paid in cash, separately for each post at any branch of Punjab National Bank. Before depositing the fee, the candidate must ensure that he/she meets the eligibility criteria of the post(s) for which he is applying and then download a copy of the Cash voucher from our website  www.pnbindia.in-Link->Recruitment.. The voucher will be in duplicate. The voucher be filled up and thereafter be presented at any Branch of PNB, along with the application fee. The following details must be entered into both copies of the voucher:
(i) Candidate’s Name 
(ii) Candidate’s Category 
(iii) Name & Code Number of the branch selected for payment
(iv) Date of Payment and (v) Fee to be paid. After payment, the candidate must ensure that the transaction ID generated is entered into the voucher. The candidate’s copy of the voucher will then be handed over to him/her Payment of fee should be made from 1.8.2012 to 17.8.2012. The date will be the same for candidates belonging to far-flung areas.
NO OTHER MODE OF DEPOSIT OF FEE IS PERMITTED.

Procedure to Apply :  
i) Candidates should log onto our website www.pnbindia.in-Link->Recruitment. The candidates must apply online only.   NO OTHER MODE IS PERMITTED. After remitting the requisite application fee/ intimation charges candidates should click on the appropriate online application format and fill in the requisite application details. 

ii) The transaction ID provided by the Branch after payment must be quoted in the application and the Original Cash voucher must be produced along with the call letter at the time of the written test. 

In addition, for Post Codes 01 to 07, before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of his photograph and signature as per the specifications given below at point no. 

Candidates should ensure that both the photograph and signature are within the required specifications. If the size of the file is more than the specified limit then adjust the settings of the scanner. 

iii) Application Registration on our website will remain open from  1.8.2012 to 17.8.2012. On-line applications are to be processed by a computerized system. It is essential that the application is properly and completely filled in. Candidates should keep a printout of the duly submitted application for future reference. 

iv) The candidate should have a valid personal email id. This will enable him/her to receive call letter/ interview advice etc. by email. For Post Codes 08-10 candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for Common Written Examination CWE conducted in March 2012) is kept active during the currency of the recruitment project. Bank may send call letters/ intimations for Group Discussion/ Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.

The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)-November, 2012
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 18th November, 2012
Candidates can apply on-line for CTET-November, 2012 on CBSE/CTET website www.cbse.nic.in, www.ctet.nic.in
Applicability: The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Govt (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, and NCT of Delhi
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET
Schools owned and managed by the State Govt/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Govt
However, a State Govt can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment
Eligibility: The candidates having the following minimum educational qualification are eligible for appearing in CTET
Classes I-V (Primary Stage): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002; or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed); or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage): Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed); or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed); or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year B.A./B.Sc Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed; or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed (Special Education)
Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum educational qualification for eligibility to apply shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled
A diploma/degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered
However, in case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered
A person with D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed (Special Education) qualification shall undergo, after appointment NCTE recognized 6 months Special Programme in Elementary Education
The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies/Social Science, Mathematics, Science etc
In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms for Physical Education teachers referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 03rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable
For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, etc the existing eligibility norms prescribed by the State Governments and other school managements shall be applicable till such time the NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications in respect of such teachers
The candidate not having any of the above qualification shall not be eligible for appearing in Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Examination Pattern: The CTET examination will be of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ’s)
There will be no negative marking
There will be 2 papers of CTET
Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V
Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII
A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II)

Write your registration number, name, address, and mobile/telephone number on the back of the demand draft

QUALIFYING MARKS AND AWARD OF CTET CERTIFICATE
The candidates appearing in CTET will be issued Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued Eligibility Certificate.
School Managements (Government, Local bodies, Government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Scholarships: On the basis of the National Talent Search Examination, 1000 scholarships will be awarded
How To Apply:
NTSE 2012 Application Form: You may contact the State/UT Liaison officer for procuring application form

The completed application form should be signed by the Principal of the School
The candidate as well as the Principal of the school must adhere to the last date for submission of the application form
Different states may have different last dates for submission
Please confirm from the Liaison Officer of your state, the address at which the completed forms are to be submitted

No application should be sent to NCERT
Fees: States and Union Territories may notify the fee required which will be paid for the Stage-I examination

Registration of Online Applications 
HOW TO APPLY: GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION: Candidates should have valid email ID. This will help him/her in getting call letter/interview advices etc. by e-mail.
OPTION-I: PAYMENT OF FEE (OFFLINE):
i) Candidates should first scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature.
ii) Candidates to visit Bank's website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in and open the appropriate Online Application Format given under “Recruitment Link”.
iii) Candidates are advised to fill the application carefully. In the event of the candidate not able to fill the data in one go, he can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can reopen the saved data using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will be available for three times only. Once the application is filled complete, candidate should submit the data. Candidates to take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan immediately.  No change/edit will be allowed thereafter. The registration at this stage is provisional.
v) Fee Payment: Fee payment will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of State Bank of India. System generated fee payment challan will be used for depositing fee. Once fee is paid, the registration process is completed.
v) Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMS/e-mail after THREE working days from the date of payment of fees. Candidate must ensure to furnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive the registration confirmation.
VI) Three days after fee payment candidate will also have a provision to reprint the submitted application containing fee details. The printout of the application and fee receipt should be retained with the candidate. It will have to be submitted at the time of interview, if called.
OPTION-II: PAYMENT OF FEE (ONLINE PAYMENT):
I. Candidates must follow steps i) to iii) given under Option-I above.
